Press Brake OperatorThe Press Brake Operator is responsible for producing parts from metal or other materials using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends, punches, or cuts into material.


  • Able to Perform all Aspects of the Precision Press Brake
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints or plans for the finished product
  • Adjust the machines to control speed, angles and forming dimensions
  • Ensure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product
  • Ensure machines are working at full capacity, well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output
  • Look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production


  • Ability to use/read calipers/tape measures/protractors
  • Read and understand Blue Prints
  • Good knowledge of steel types and gauges
  • Good mathematical aptitude
  • Understanding of fractions and decimals and how to convert them readily


  • Experience with Press Brakes
  • Experience in prototyping
  • Experience reading prints
  • Experience with dial calipers and protractors


  • Trump and Cincinnati Press Brake experience

Physical Demands & Abilities:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Continually lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, reach, grasp, grip, walk, and stand
  • Occasionally squat and walk
